Dear Jim: We just wanted to thank you for the very best painting contractor experience we've ever had, without exception. I have renovated two homes in Westchester, a complete condominium renovation in Florida and built a lodge/camp complex in the Adirondacks. All have required interior/exterior painting and I have yet to see such professional, safe and considerate work. Having now just painted my entire home, inside and out, I wanted to let you know it was simply a remarkable experience. In a word, trouble-free (I guess that's actually two words). Your crew is always in and out quietly, no hassle and every evening the place is left clean as a whistle. I also appreciate how cautious, safe and considerate your crew is, they really help and look out for each other. Your personal attentiveness and patience were refreshing, especially as we changed up one room's color on the fly and also encountered some unexpected carpentry problems. Everything was simply dealt with, no problems and without delay. I have had this house's exterior painted twice in fifteen years and I have never remotely seen such a prep job. It truly was a halting experience. I find your prices at most competitive but, in truth, just plain reasonable considering the value and worth every penny. Also your references for a roofer and floor refinisher were stellar. There is only one painting contractor I will recommend from now on and if you're too busy - I'd further recommend that person wait until you're not. Frankly, and I know it's not an exact comparison, but out of five GC's I've worked with over the years you top them all by far. Jim Avery of Precision Painting of Westchester has been our only painting contractor for almost twenty years. I would not rely on anyone else! His team is excellent and very responsive to any on-the-job requests. He has handled a variety of outside painting, including house exterior, garage doors, deck areas, and gates and fences. He has also done very substantial interior work, involving the normal walls and ceilings, plus custom cabinetry. We call on him, as needed, to handle normal maintenance touch-ups. Jim runs a first class operation. He and his team always arrive on schedule and the work is top notch. I would not hesitate to recommend him and have on many occasions.
